Game on! YMCA Adult Sports programs offer fun ways for men and women to stay active, get fit and explore new hobbies. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just looking to explore a new hobby, we have something for you! From basketball to pickleball, the YMCA offers a variety of adult sports leagues and programs that provide fun and healthy activities for adults of all fitness levels.  Adult sports offered include competitive and recreation leagues for basketball, volleyball, soccer, and pickleball.

Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team’s court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964.

This program consists of 12 sessions (3 days a week for 4 weeks) focusing on the overall growth of participants looking to develop and fine-tune basic volleyball skills. These skills include serving, passing, setting, blocking, hitting/spiking, and defensive strategies. Come join former volleyball players Claire Mumford from Cambridge Springs High School and Ellah Beachly from General Mclane.
