Dance
Youth dance classes offer a multitude of benefits beyond just learning dance moves, impacting physical, mental, social, and emotional development. These benefits include improved physical health, boosted self-confidence, enhanced cognitive skills, and development of crucial life skills like teamwork and communication.
Dicks Sporting Goods Field - Sideline Dance Team Clinic
Be a part of the Y Dance Team…A fun, introductory class designed for youth ages 5 to 12, to explore sideline dances and choreographed performance dance. Students will focus on learning core dance skills and will perform a routine to parents at the final session. Register by July 8 for Pom Poms to be included; if registered from July 9 thru 15, participants should bring their own.
Participants will be split into age groups for simultaneous instruction. There will be a group performance for parents and family on July 17 at 7pm.

School Age Jazz & Hip Hop: Ages 8-13
Over the course of 6 WEEKS, your child can experience a high-energy and expressive dance style that combines sharp, precise movements with smooth, fluid motion. It often includes fun kicks, turns, and jumps set to upbeat music, helping kids improve their coordination, rhythm, and flexibility. Jazz dance encourages creativity and confidence while giving children a chance to move freely and have fun.
