The YMCA and Pennie™ Health Equity Tour will visit Erie County on August 24, 2021 from 2PM-6PM at the Eastside Family YMCA in Erie, PA.

The event will include resources, give-aways, information, and activities for community members of all ages to enjoy. This event will include information from the YMCA and Pennie™ as well as resources from the following vendors:

The YMCA and Pennie™ Health Equity Tour is a series of in-person events throughout the 67 counties in Pennsylvania focused on access to health resources. The 12-month tour will promote the YMCA evidence-based chronic disease management programs, and tour staff will educate the individuals in attendance about Pennie™ and how to obtain health & dental coverage with the additional financial assistance now available from the American Rescue Plan.

The YMCA is focused on creating equitable and sustainable solutions that address both the immediate needs of the community and the systemic root causes that lead to inequalities.
