Know. See. Respond: Our Role In Child Abuse Prevention
As a youth-serving organization, the YMCA’s number one priority is child safety. Learn more about our child protection policies, from hiring to monitoring to response, as we move towards national accreditation for child abuse prevention standards in 2026. We’ll also discuss steps you can take within your sphere of influence to reduce or eliminate the access, privacy, and control that abusers need to thrive.
