Water Fitness
Water Fitness classes use the water’s resistance to create an environment that improves cardiovascular conditioning; strength and endurance; and flexibility and balance. It provides a lower-impact alternative to land-based exercise.
Barre H2O consists of ballet inspired movements using the water’s resistance to strengthen arms, legs, and core. Experience isometric movements that will tone all major muscle groups. Explore long lever movements to lengthen, strengthen, and improve your range of motion.
Cardio Abs Deep Water – Go back to the “Core” and focus on the fundamentals. Combines deep water cardio moves with abdominal and flexibility techniques.
Deep Water Fitness classes encourage the use of a float belt to allow participants to remain vertical and exercise in a bottomless environment.
Functional Water Fitness classes are designed to improve participants movements and ability to perform day to day activities easily. All exercise have modifications to accommodate varying fitness levels, complication from illness or chronic conditions to ensure participants success.
Mixed Depths Water Fitness improves cardiovascular conditioning, strength & endurance, as well as flexibility & balance as you explore multiple depths of water. Designed for all levels, this class will use shallow, transitional & deep water depths.
Power Deep Water Fitness classes take all of the advantages of Deep Water Fitness and adds a more powerful, challenging, high intensity workout. Cardio and resistance training is combined using methods of interval sets and more.
Shallow Water Fitness classes offer exercises that are performed primarily in a vertical position in a chest-to-navel water depth and are “non-swimmer” friendly.
Water Boot Camp moves at a rapid pace and is designed to increase the heart rate and condition the whole body. It combines cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength and core abdominal work using the shallow end of the pool. Be prepared to sweat, even in the pool!
